Over the next 6 days we will travel nearly 70 miles, out of Somerset and across the top of Devon, finishing in Barnstaple.
Wed 25: Minehead to Porlock
Thu 26: Porlock to Lynmouth
Fri 27: Lynmouth to Combe Martin

Sun 29: Woolacombe to Braunton
Mon 30: Braunton to Barnstaple
For the rest of the walk, the plan is:
Week 2: May 12 - 19 Barnstaple to Padstow
Week 3: Jun 2 - 8 Padstow to St Ives
Week 4: Jun 23 - 29 St Ives to Lizard
Week 5: Jul 14 - 20 Lizard to Par
Week 6: Aug 4 - 10 Par to Salcombe
Week 7: Aug 25 - 31 Salcombe to Seaton
Week 8: Sep 24 - 30 Seaton to Poole
Deciding what art materials to take has been driven mostly by weight and ease of use. I will be taking:

- graphite sticks
- black ink and bamboo nibs
- derwent inktense sticks
- sheets of perspex
- drypoint tools
Finally, a big thank you to all that have sent messages wishing us good weather, fit legs and a fair wind!
Been thinking of you in all this rain. Hopefully you have good wet weather gear!
ReplyDeleteBest foot forward and good luck!
